This SIG5 is concerned with the learning and development from birth to the age of eight years old. We recognize that learning and development takes place in formal and informal contexts (e. g. preschools, schools, home, daycare, community). Because of this reason the SIG welcomes researchers who are studying aspects of learning and development in any of the previous contexts.
